Art & Costumes
On 22 January 2013 sixty children from Holy Trinity School visited the video-sound installation Streets of… 7 cities in 7 minutes at Rich Mix and engaged creatively with its themes during a workshop led by the artist Alda Terracciano and her collaborators. As a result they created a 7 meters long collage, which was exhibited at Rich Mix as part of the Living Archaeology of the Place programme and in April 2013 at Brixton Library. Other art workshops were carried out at the school with Rudy Rocha, director of TARU Arts Group, to help children make their own costumes with recycled paper and other materials in preparation of their final performance.
