African bead necklace
Description: This is a symbol of African gods, my African patron, which in Nigeria they would call it Obàtálá and in Brazil we call it Oshalà. I have recently converted from Christianity to Candomblé so I am now following the old gods. The whole nature of Black culture in Brazil is that of taking elements and of inviting elements that are positive in their culture. So this is pretty much the colours of Oshala and I wear it on me everyday. I generally do not show it to anyone, but this is for a good cause.
