Memories of Shanghai were collected as part of the Living Archaeology of the Place programme. Participants of two Memory Sessions, who either came from Shanghai or had lived there, reminisce about the city’s traditions, religious practices, ancestors’ worshipping rituals, traditional games, the importance of outdoor life and exercising in the parks.
